WhatCar? Car of the Year Awards 2012
This week 'WhatCar?' held its cars of the year award ceremony 2012. By driving thousands of miles, and testing every car on sale in the UK, the best cars on any budget were selected, from superminis, to huge 4x4s.
Car of the Year / City Car of the Year – Volkswagen Up from £10,390
The biggest winner of the night was the Volkswagen Up, which triumphed as Car of the Year. The classy car, comfortable in a city centre as well as the motorway offers an impressive combination of quality, capacity and sophistication. Readers Car of the Year- Jaguar C-X16
The Jaguar C-X16 has been voted the most exciting car to be launched in the new year. The spectacular C-X16 will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in the spring and be available to purchase by the end of the year, expected to cost around £50,000.
