Plans of a new Mini have been leaked by the European Patent Office, these images show a car that looks very much like the concept vehicle which was first revealed as a concept at the Detroit motor show back in January. Ian Robertson who is part of the BMW board has already given the green light for this Range Rover Evoque rival. As you can see from the images leaked it shows how the new MINI Paceman will look on its release in 2012. Because the Detroit Concept car was practically ready to be released, it comes as no surprise that the leaked file images show a car that looks more or less identical to the concept, it has the same sweeping roofline and three doors which help set it apart from the Mini Countryman. So based on that expect the two vehicles to be built alongside each other at BMW’s Mini Magna Steyr factory in Graz, Austria. The Mini Country man and Mini Pacemen will share the same engines, including a 1.6 litre petrol which will be turbocharged and will come with a choice of four wheel drive or two wheel drive.
